How long will it take to receive my order? When you confirm an order with a deposit, I will give you an estimated completion date which I will do everything in my power to meet. Through experience, however, I have learned that sometimes things happen beyond anyone's control that throw the proverbial wrench into the gearbox. In these cases, we must all be patient. What are your payment terms? To confirm a place on my work schedule and to guarantee my commitment to you, a 50% deposit is required. At this time I will give you a close estimate of the completion date. The balance will be due prior to shipment. Since I am a small one-man shop, I do not accept credit cards. Only personal checks, business checks, or money orders can be used for payments. What are your prices? Because almost all of my furniture is built on a custom basis, set prices are difficult to determine. Several factors influence price. Dining chair prices vary mainly due to the size. Standard side chair seats measure 18” wide in front, 14” wide in back and 16” deep. In contrast, seats in large side chairs and arm chairs measure 20” wide in front, 16” wide in back and 18” deep. This difference affects the price. The type of seat covering influences the price as does the type of backrest. Upholstered backrests are more expensive than wooden backrests. Dining chairs vary in price between $795 and $1250. Chairs at the upper end of the price range are arm chairs with very high end leather seats and upholstered backrests. Natural stick accent arm chairs range between $1250 and $1350. Recliners with ottomans cost between $4500 and $5000. Small tables range between $695 for simple end tables to $1900 - $3000 for sofa tables and coffee tables. Dining table prices can vary greatly due to size, type of wood used and complexity of design. The price range is generally between $3000 and $5000. Prices will be discussed and confirmed during the ordering process. What about shipping? Shipping is available nationally and internationally. Freight costs are highly variable and rates can change quickly. When you confirm an order, I can provide a rough estimate. Due to rapidly changing conditions, the final freight cost can only be determined when your order is completed and ready for shipment. Dining chairs are usually shipped via Fed Ex or UPS. Larger pieces are usually shipped through trucking companies that specialize in handling fine furniture. Sometimes I deliver pieces personally. What if there is damage during shipment? Although this is rare, damage can happen. When your purchase arrives, please inspect all the containers closely. If any damage is found, document it with good photographs. Open the container and closely inspect the packing material and furniture item inside. If damage is present, take more photos. Make proper comments on the shipping receipt. Keep the damaged container and packing material. All this is necessary to make a valid insurance claim. Do you offer a warranty? My ultimate goal is your complete satisfaction with my products. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return it and I will refund your money. If a chair breaks due to normal use during my working lifetime, I will replace it.
